Safe Travels BadgeThe time is right for us to meet again and we can’t wait to welcome you back to your theatre! Our number one priority is ensuring that our patrons are safe, comfortable, and confident with their decision to enjoy the magic of live theatre again.

Our Duty of Care adheres to local and provincial health guidelines.  We have also been awarded the World Travel and Tourism Council / Tourism Industry Association of Ontario Safe Travels stamp for adopting proper, standardized health and hygiene protocols. This stamp is globally recognized as an indicator that enhanced COVID mitigation protocols are in place.

Ticketing

Drayton Entertainment 2021 Holiday Season Worry-Free Guarantee
Book your tickets knowing that flexible options are available if needed, for whatever reason. If your performance is cancelled or you are required to stay home due to COVID-19 symptoms or exposure, you may opt for a flexible ticket exchange, credit on your Drayton Entertainment ticketing account (which never expires), or a full refund.

Capacity

After an unimaginably tough 20 months, the provincial government – in consultation with the Chief Medical Officer of Health – has expanded the capacity limits for live theatres to 100% occupancy without seating restrictions. We have taken the extra measure of implementing a capped seating capacity of up to a maximum of 50% at select performances, which will allow for some space between seating pods.  The audience capacity for each performance is marked in the show calendar. 

Contact Tracing

For contact tracing purposes, the ticket purchaser will be considered the primary contact for any guests and will be expected to have contact information for each member of their party.

Before You Arrive

Vaccination Status
To comply with Province of Ontario regulations, all patrons 12 years of age and older must be fully vaccinated to enter a live theatre facility. Proof of this status must be provided as either a paper receipt or displayed on a mobile device, along with government-issued photo identification that matches the vaccination documentation.

Exceptions will be made only for patrons who provide proof of exemption as required by the Province.

Children under the age of 12, accompanied by an adult who meets all of the requirements, are permitted into the theatre. Please take note of the age recommendation for each production, being mindful that there is no official rating for live theatre. We encourage you to use your judgment based on your child’s age and maturity level.

COVID Screening
Screening questions will be posted upon arrival at the theatre. Patrons exhibiting any symptoms should not enter the facility, but call the Drayton Entertainment Box Office at 1-855-drayton (372-9866) to discuss available options through our 2021 Holiday Season Worry-Free Guarantee.

Arrival

Timing
Arrive early! The auditorium will open for seating 45 minutes prior to the start of the performance.  Getting into the theatre will take longer than usual as we verify proof of vaccination and scan your tickets.

Ticket Scanning
You can choose print-at-home tickets or bring your e-tickets on your mobile device on the day of the performance. Mailed tickets are also available.

Masks
All visitors and staff will be required to wear a mask that fully covers the nose, mouth, and chin at all times during their visit to the theatre.

Lounge Services
Patrons may purchase drinks and snacks before the performance and during intermission to enjoy inside the theatre. We encourage you to pre-order your intermission drinks and snacks before the show to reduce line-ups. Your items will be waiting for you at the pre-assigned number.

50/50 Raffle
There will not be a 50/50 raffle for each performance. We invite you to play along with our monthly online 50/50 raffle. Tickets may be purchased at www.drayton5050.com.

Coat Check
Our coat check will be closed during our 2021 Holiday Season offerings.

Assistive Listening
Assistive listening devices will be cleaned with minimum 70% isopropyl alcohol between uses.

Seating
To minimize congestion in the lobby, we ask that you take your seat inside the theatre upon arrival. Ushers will be available to walk to you your seat.

While at the Theatre

Lobby Seating
We ask that patrons do not gather in the lobby prior, during, or after performances. Bar stools and tables have been reduced to provide more space for distancing.

Cleaning
Enhanced cleaning measures have been put into place before, during and after each performance including increased cleaning of high-touch surfaces. The use of electrostatic sprayers allow for an even coat on various surfaces, ensuring a more thorough disinfection.  Common contact surfaces and washrooms are regularly sanitized by our on-site cleaning team.

HVAC/Air Flow/Ventilation
Our theatres are equipped with state of the art Mechanical Ventilation systems that exchange the air in our public spaces every 15 minutes. We equip our HVAC systems with high quality filters to capture particles and clean the air. Our units are operating 24/7 to ensure fresh filtered air is in all public spaces at all times.

During seating and exiting the auditorium following the performance, traffic flow will be managed through designated entrances and exits.  In the event of an emergency, the audience will be able to leave through all doors.

Directional Signage
Single direction foot traffic will be in place in high traffic areas, such as washrooms and lounge ordering, where possible.

Sanitation Stations
We ask that you use the hand sanitizer provided as you enter the theatre. Sanitizer can also be found at designated points throughout the venue.

Plexiglas Barriers
Barriers have been installed at our bars where physical distancing is more difficult to maintain, as well as our Box Office.

High-Touch Surfaces
Before, during, and after each performance cleaning/disinfecting of high-touch surfaces in lobbies, washrooms, handrails, doorknobs, seat arms, will be taking place.

House Programs
Performance programs will be available digitally to ticket purchasers and issued by email prior to the performance.  They will also be made available online at www.draytonentertainment.com. This is part of our effort to reduce our carbon footprint, as paper production, distribution, use and disposal requires considerable energy and raw materials. Thank you for supporting this greening initiative!
