The Ballad of Stompin' Tom

The Ballad of Stompin TomA Tribute to The Man of the Land

Story & Songs by STOMPIN' TOM CONNORS
Script by DAVID SCOTT
Directed by ERIC COATES

Venture to the back roads of Canada for an inspiring tribute featuring the music of the legendary Stompin' Tom Connors. This toe-tappin', foot-stompin', hand-clappin' biography contains a dozen of the prolific troubadour's greatest hits, including "Bud the Spud", "Tillsonburg", "Sudbury Saturday Night", and "The Hockey Song."

Interweaving music and memories, this poignant production recounts the many hardships faced by the young, determined singer as he navigated the road to fame. From the dark days in a New Brunswick orphanage, to life on the streets, to his breakout success in Timmins, The Ballad of Stompin' Tom captures the remarkable tragedies and triumphs of "The Man of the Land" with honesty, wit, and emotion. In doing so, it becomes a compelling celebration of a true Canadian icon.
